Emilyโs journey with Darlington Gymnastics Club began in 2009 when she joined as a four-year-old recreational gymnast. Her dedication and love for the sport saw her progress to squad training, where she proudly represented the club in competitions across the North-East.
At just 13, Emilyโs passion for gymnastics inspired her to start volunteering at the club. Now, as a qualified Level 2 Womenโs Artistic Gymnastics Coach working towards her Level 3, Emily brings her experience, enthusiasm, and commitment to helping the next generation of gymnasts.
For Emily, the highlight of coaching is seeing children progress, enjoy their journey, and achieve their dreams โ whether mastering a new skill in training or competing with pride in competitions. To Emily, every child is a winner.
As a gymnast, Emilyโs favourite apparatus was the vault, where she achieved a Tsuk and a standout moment in her gymnastics career was meeting members of Team GB at regional competitions – an experience that fuelled her passion even further.
Emilyโs enthusiasm for the sport and supportive and encouraging approach create a fun, nurturing environment where gymnasts can grow and realise their dreams.
